The Mount Gambier Motorcycle Club is one of the oldest motorcycling clubs in the country, and is the only motorcycle club in Australia (and one of very few in the world) to own it’s own Road Racing circuit : McNamara Park, a genuine family-oriented Clubman race track. Many of the Club's members are regular competitors in Road Racing events across the country, competing in modern and historic racing on both Solos and Sidecars. Ride days are becoming an increasingly popular way to enjoy the capabilities of your motorcycle without incurring the wrath of the law, and membership enables you to participate in their monthly ride days at the track.

Phoenix MCC was created by a group that hung around a café in the city. After some bad publicity on a weekend ride (their website has the details, if you're curious!), they became a registered club to avoid future issues - and so the Club was founded. Initially running Scramble meetings on a track they created at Brooks Gully near Tanunda, in the mid 1970′s the move was made into Road Racing and the Club quickly became the premier Road Race Club in Adelaide. Phoenix MCC hosts the Adelaide 3 Hour, Road Race State Title events including joint state title events with Victorian club Preston MCC, and ride days for Mallala Motorsport Park once a month.
