The finale of the 2023 Mi-Bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike, presented by Motul, will all come down to the line at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend, from the 1st to the 3rd of December. Brace yourselves for an adrenaline-packed weekend as South Australia’s finest road racing talents go head-to-head against formidable opponents from across Australia for one more time.
Alpine Stars Superbike:
Arthur Sissis, currently positioned 9th in the Championship, eyes a climb up the ladder with just 16 points separating him from the 8th spot. His prowess at The Bend circuit might just play a pivotal role in his ascent. Meanwhile, Michael Kemp, sitting 14th in the Championship, aims to surpass NSW’s Paris Hardwick and Matt Walters, closing the gap of just 15 points between them.

Michelin Supersport:
The battle intensifies in the 2023 Michelin Supersport class. Olly Simpson, determined to reclaim the top spot from NSW’s Cameron Dunker, faces stiff competition from fellow South Aussie Ty Lynch, trailing Simpson by a mere 2 points. The fight for the top 3 heats up further as Championship 4th place holder Dallas Skeer defends against Victoria’s Scott Nicholson, trailing by only 3 points. Joining in all the action Declan Carberry, sitting in Championship 14th and Mitchell Simpson 19th overall, will be putting up a solid fight all weekend to gain those last chance, valuable Championship positions. Making his first appearance in the Supersport Championship, Cooper Rowntree will be looking to make his mark in some pretty tight racing battles.
Australian Supersport 300 & R3 Cup:
South Australia proudly showcases 9 exceptional riders in the Australian Supersport 300 class, with 6 of them participating in the Yamaha R3 Cup as well. Among them, Championship 14th Tara Morrison, 21st Brock Quinlan, and Jiabin Zhang are all geared up to give it their all one last time on the familiar Bend Motorsport Circuit. Doubleheaders in the Yamaha R3 feature Phoenix Agar, Georgia Stephens, Ghage Plowman, Sam Pezzetta (Championship 9th), Jordan Simpson (Championship 11th) and Ryder Gilbert (Championship 20th), all adding to the excitement. Notably, Georgia Stephens and Jiabin Zhang will make their ASBK debut at the event- can’t wait to see what that will bring to the action.
bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup:
Archie Schmidt leads the 2023 series by just 1 point, setting the stage for an intense battle against Queenslands’ Bodie Page. Fans anticipate witnessing a South Aussie clinching the top spot. Rikki Henry, fresh from the FIM MiniGP World Series Finale in Spain, joins Schmidt on the track before they gear up for the 2024 Asia Talent Cup.
Sureflight Australian Superbike Masters:
Davo Johnson, after an impressive 6th place finish and a streak of podiums at round 6 Phillip Island, aims to make a mark in the final round 7 of the Sureflight Australian Superbike Masters.
